Did you know?Each T cell has a T cell receptor which is specific for a particular antigen. These receptors are generated at random during T cell development. Once mature, T cells begin to circulate the body and only become activated if they encounter an antigen (either from a pathogen or a cancerous cell) that binds to their receptor.
